Some NyQuil seems good right about now.

Well, much like how Drew at EoB has been battling a cold, I also have been hit with a bit of a sick bug over the past couple days. Apparently something's been going around in Columbus, and I was the unlucky recipient of it yesterday while working the Blue Jackets/Blues game. As if the depressing 4-3 shootout loss wasn't bad enough, I now have a stuffy nose and a splitting headache larger than the San Andreas Fault.
I'm going to be exceptionally scarce the rest of the week, unless something big comes up. This isn't so much me going on hiatus because the Blue Jackets have been woefully .500 for the past few weeks, as much as I have two final projects due in my last two Associates' Degree classes on Sunday. I also need to get a little perspective on what to do next, whether or not I want to take a hiatus from college until August or September and start at a traditional college like Ohio State or one of the smaller ones in Columbus, or take a lesser break, then dive right back in to online classes. It's really a hard decision, folks. Freedom both for myself and for time for a job, compared to hands-on classes and a more 'respected', traditional college degree.
I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with Army of the Ohio in terms of layout, as well. I've been kicking some ideas around in my head all day now, and I think I have some things I'd like to implement; it's just a matter of figuring out how to implement them and if it will look good.
Other than that, I'm alive! Stuffed up and congested, but verily alive.
I also wanted to extend some deep appreciation to Tapeleg from Jerseys and Hockey Love, while I have the opportunity. It's definitely an honor to be considered one of the quality, but smaller blogs! Really, compliments like that help to keep me motivated at keeping up with blogging, even if I've been slacking a bit as the new year has rolled along.
On that note, I'm off to try and do some living room cleaning before I go to bed. Yes, guys actually clean. It's amazing, I know!

Thanks, Nancy!
Drew, I recommend looking around in the level 200 stores at Section 209, 211, and 219. Those have been my most recent spots, and I get the feeling I'll be there again, too. If not, if you're interested I can toss you my cell phone number and you can text me sometime after 5 PM Saturday when I'll know precisely where I'll be. :D -
